Photography is an art of teleporting the past into the future.
That line is the reason I pick up a camera. A photograph is a small machine that moves a moment forward through time: your daughter's laugh at six, the way your partner looked at you at the altar, the golden light on an ordinary Tuesday that turned out not to be ordinary at all.
I photograph people in and around St. Augustine, one of the most quietly cinematic places in Florida. Coquina walls, bougainvillea spilling over old doorways, palms leaning across courtyards, and that soft Atlantic light that arrives every evening like it is keeping an appointment.
My sessions are relaxed on purpose. There is no stiff posing and no pressure to perform. We walk, we talk, and I guide you just enough that you forget the camera is there. The photographs that come back to you feel natural because they are: real gestures, real laughter, real light.
